Who am I?

My Philosophy: Servant Leadership (Dienende Führung) - Robert Greenleaf, who coined the term, was inspired by the character Leo in the book Journey to the East (Die Morgenlandfahrt) by the famous German author Hermann Hesse. In the book, Leo is a servant who disappears, and the group falls apart because they realize he was actually their true leader.

I am a Microsoft Azure and M365 specialist with over 7 years of experience. I keep corporate IT infrastructure running. Cleanly. Securely. Without unnecessary drama. My background covers cloud administration, identity management, endpoint operations, and team leadership.

Most recently, I was Assistant Manager - IT at BPK Tech Services. I led the infrastructure team. I managed Azure costs and security. I helped the company move toward SOC-2 and HIPAA compliance. Before that, I spent three years as Azure Admin Lead at the same company. I built the cloud foundation from the ground up.

In August 2025, I relocated permanently to Germany. I am now actively looking for IT infrastructure, Azure, or sysadmin roles in Europe. I believe good technical work starts with caring about the people who depend on it.

Outside of work: self-hosted infrastructure, Raspberry Pi projects, and anything with a battery and a blinking light. I also enjoy taking apart old computers and laptops. I clean them up, fix what needs fixing, and put them back together better than before.

Servant Leadership
Leading by example. Onboarding and training end-users. Mentoring junior team members. Working across departments without ego.
Networking & Infrastructure
LAN/WAN setup and network configuration. Wired, wireless, and CCTV systems. Server room operations from physical hardware to cloud.
Preventive Maintenance
Routine upkeep of desktops, laptops, servers, and network equipment. OS updates, antivirus definitions, firmware, and hardware inspections. The goal is to catch problems before they become incidents.

  • Administered Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, and Exchange. This covered Entra ID, IAM, resource deployments, storage, and cost management.
  • Managed company-wide software licensing. This included vendor negotiation and procurement.
  • Handled laptop provisioning for new employees. This covered procurement, shipping, and initial setup.
  • Maintained hardware and software inventory across servers, business systems, and desktops.
  • Acted as the escalation point for complex technical issues. Supported users across all systems.
